Round 3 in San Nazzaro, Italy, has come to an unfortunate end with the race officially cancelled. Due to dangerous water conditions and continuous floating logs on the course, it was not possible to run the race safely.
Saturday’s free practice and Sunday’s qualifying sessions gave fans a glimpse of exciting action, with:
Giacomo Sacchi taking pole
Rashed Al Qemzi in P2
Matthew Palfreyman in P3
Despite a promising weekend, worsening conditions later on Sunday forced organizers to call off the race. No championship points will be awarded for this round.
The focus now shifts to Round 4 in Portugal
, just two weeks away — where the fight for the title continues!
