Making his UIM F2 World Championship debut here in Peurunka, Finland will be eighteen year old Alberto Comparato. Having been the UIM F4 World Champion for the past two years the young Italian admitted that his father is more nervous then he is. Fabio Comparato, who raced in the UIM F1H2O series from 1999 till he retired in 2010, said “This is a big step but we think he’s ready for it. We all know that the next three races will be steep learning curve for him but the teams aim is to get as much seat time for him as possible.” By racing here this weekend Comparato Jnr. will become the youngest ever UIM F2 competitor.
