The UIM F2 World Championship 2025 has come to an end

The UIM F2 World Championship 2025 has come to an end – and what a season it was!

Mathilda Wiberg is officially crowned World Champion. What a year for the Wiberg family, with Mathilda taking gold, Hilmer Wiberg securing silver, and Edgaras Riabko claiming bronze.

The final race in Vila Velha de Ródão was packed with drama. Mathilda started from P2 but took the lead right after the first turn. Peter Morin, starting from pole and still with a mathematical chance at the title, looked perfect all weekend until a blown fuse ended his hopes. Edgaras Riabko pushed hard and finished second, while Hilmer Wiberg spent most of the race chasing him before his engine failed. Even so, he had enough points to hold onto second in the championship. Duarte Benavente gave the home fans plenty to cheer for, securing third place on the podium.

What a thrilling year it has been. Congratulations to our 2025 UIM F2 World Champion, Mathilda Wiberg! 🏆🇸🇪
